Case study / BBVA / 2024
Making complex systems more coherent and human.
At BBVA, I worked across research, experience design and visual communication with multidisciplinary teams. The work ranged from improving digital flows to creating identities for learning and futures projects.

01 / The context
Designing across a large, evolving ecosystem.
Digital products operating across different markets need clarity and consistency. Working with the Experience team, I documented and prototyped flows, reviewed screens and helped align them with a shared visual language. Research work with teams in Spain and Mexico explored opportunities to improve the relationship between customers and the bank.
Some of the product work is confidential. The projects below show the part of the practice that can be shared publicly.
02 / Data Lovers
Making data feel approachable.
Data Lovers was a learning experience about working with data for BBVA designers. I helped define the visual direction, developing research and moodboards into a logo, badges and a style guide. The aim was to make a technical subject feel engaging and useful to the people learning it.

03 / Mayrit
Exploring possible futures through design.
For an installation at Madrid’s Central de Diseño during the Mayrit Design and Architecture Biennial, I collaborated with the Future Designers team, DavidDeDavid and the BBVA Futures Observatory. We used futures thinking to ask how people might relate to their environment through technology in 2048.
My contribution included gathering and grouping signals, building a futures wheel, developing two scenarios and animating the interaction with the artifact.
